Error
Messages
Usually you will
get an error Message, however this may be just an Error Code or a not
very intelligible message.
Take a note of the error code/message ( cut and paste is easiest),and
go to your favourite Search Engine on the Internet. Google is most people's favourite.
Put the
error code/message into the search field. It may offer you a link to
the software supplier's Web site giving a more detailed explanation of
the error and how to fix it.
Often the most useful pages are links to bulletin boards/help forums,
where other people arer discussing the problem and how to fix it. It is
very rare for you to be the first person to have come across this
problem, almost certainly there is a record of it somewhere and
information on how to resolve it.
